The Ultimate Guide to Removing Period Stains

Let’s fight period stains!

Don’t throw away those panties just yet! Follow our ultimate guide to removing period stains and you’ll never let another period stain ruin a favorite pair of panties again!

What are the best ways to remove period stains?

1. Rinse and rub using COLD water Do not use hot water! Hot water helps stains set in and harder to get out!

2. Use your spit Believe it or not, the enzymes in your spit will actually break down the blood proteins! Spit on the stain and rub, rub, rub!

3. Use hydrogen peroxide Pour hydrogen peroxide on the period stain and let is soak for 30 seconds. Wipe it up with a washcloth and it should be gone! Do a test spot first! Hydrogen peroxide can bleach some fabrics.

4. Spot treat with detergent & machine wash using COLD water Spot treat the stain with washing detergent and rub the area to loosen up the stain. Toss it in the wash on cold and let the machine do its job!

5. Don’t wait! Start the stain removal process as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the more time the stain has to set in and it will be even harder to get out.
