I'm thinking about trying period underwear.

I did try reusable pads, but they move around and shift, they are overstimulating and frustrating, so I hate them, but I want to try period underwear It sounds like a foolproof option. any suggestions???

Hi, I recently bought my first Diva'Me Period Panties.

I'm excited to try them. For those who've been using period underwear for a while, any tips for first-time users to get the best experience?

Tried pilates on my period

I had my pilates class today and I was hesitant to go because it's my 4th day of period which is usually a very heavy day!!! I got the Diva'Me Sculpt pants and OMG, not only do they feel like my fave yoga pants that i wear (US brand), but also my camel toe insecurities were GONE because of the way the brief is built.

I highly RECOMMEND these pants from Diva'Me :)

Severe fatigue during PMS

For many women between 30 and 45, feeling unusually tired before their period is often linked to hormonal changes during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. Fluctuations in progesterone can affect sleep quality and energy levels, while factors such as PMS, blood sugar imbalances, iron deficiency from heavy periods, thyroid issues, or the early stages of perimenopause may also contribute.

Because premenstrual fatigue can have multiple causes, it’s important to look at the bigger picture. Helpful steps may include tracking your menstrual cycle, improving sleep habits, maintaining stable blood sugar through balanced meals, and staying active with light exercise. If fatigue is significant or ongoing, consider checking iron levels, thyroid function, vitamin D, and vitamin B12, and speak with a healthcare professional especially if symptoms are accompanied by heavy bleeding, severe mood changes, or other concerning signs.

I really want to switch to period underwear, but I just can’t get past the psychological barrier.

I don’t know how others do it every time I think about switching, all I can imagine is leaking or bleeding everywhere. Pads have always felt like a kind of protection for me, like a barrier I can physically place and control. I can adjust them, replace them, and feel secure knowing there’s that separation. With pads especially overnight ones, I feel safe. They’re long, they stay in place, and I can lie down or move around without worrying because everything feels supported and contained.

But with period underwear, it feels different. I can’t shake the fear that they might fail me at any moment. I think I need that sense of padding or separation to feel mentally at ease.

I do have a heavy flow (nothing unusual medically), which probably adds to the concern. I really want to make the switch, but mentally, I’m just not there yet.

Hi, Hana!

I completely get why this feels like a big leap. Pads give you that visible, adjustable “barrier,” so it makes sense your brain associates them with safety — especially with a heavier flow. That feeling isn’t irrational, it’s just familiar.

But here’s the part most of us don’t realize until we try something different: we’ve been conditioned to equate bulk with protection. Pads feel secure because they’re thick, long, and noticeable… but they also come with that constant awareness — the shifting, the dampness, the “is it full yet?” feeling. That heavy, slightly wet sensation? We’ve kind of accepted it as normal, even though it’s actually discomfort.

Period underwear works differently. Instead of sitting on top like a separate layer, it absorbs and locks in moisture within the fabric layers. So rather than feeling like something is “there” catching everything, it feels dry against your skin. No bunching, no edges moving around, no bulk in the middle — just… normal underwear.

You can ease into it in a way that still gives you that sense of control:

- Try them at home first, where you safe :)

Diva’Me period panties have really changed my perspective on the menstrual products. So, I can’t wait for you to feel the freedom and comfort.

Take care,

N
