Hi everyone, I’ve struggled with my periods for as long as I can remember. They are usually very heavy, and I often end up bleeding through my protection. So far, I’ve only used pads because I feel a bit nervous about trying tampons, although I’m open to considering them if they might help.

To manage the heavy flow, I usually place an extra layer of toilet paper on top of my pad. Otherwise, it almost always becomes a messy situation. I’ve been doing this since my very first period, but lately it’s been making me feel like there must be a better solution.

I’m also trying to move toward a more sustainable lifestyle, so I would love recommendations for menstrual products that are natural, safe, and eco-friendly. If anyone has experience with alternatives that work well for heavy flow, I’d really appreciate your suggestions.
